Capella does her first swim!

At 9 weeks, the dog is swimming...they were bred for this!

Our new baby has arrived!!!

Our new BABY arrived last week.
Her name is Capella.
She is a beautiful black lab, and Kim is going to train her to be a guide dog.
Kim is AMAZING when it comes to caring for ANYTHING...and this dog is going to be a good one! Fun Stuff at the DAVIDSON'S!!!

Ironman Wisconsin

Ironman Wisconsin was my 6th race at this distance. It was an amazing day for a lot of reasons...I couldn't really do any run training, I had a cortizone shot 2 days before the event, and I had vicadin for the run...If all the Ironmen were like this, I would retire for sure.
Time to heal up, and get ready for 2010!

Well, I am back...and after a great race at Ironman Coeur d' Alene.

A week from today I will be doing Ironman #6, and my 3rd crack at IMOO (Ironman Wisconsin). Thought I would start things off with a photog of me and a real Chesshead (Jim), Birky Runner who is also doing IMOO....more to come....

End of an Era...

On April 3, 2009, my brother Rob called with the very sad news that my mom, Janet Davidson had died. Ironically, I was heading to Minnesota to visit her that weekend; sadly I was too late! The day after hearing of her death, I raced the California Half Ironman, and I dedicated the race to her....on my shoulder I had her initials "JCND", and her knick name: "Knott" to remember her and honor her.
I was conflicted on whether or not I should race, but the answer was easy when I asked "What would mom want me to do?"
I miss her deeply...
